About Our Podcast

The Bookshop Podcast began as a speaker series, grew into a podcast, and in 2022, we presented the first of many writing workshops.

TBP is an interview-style weekly show where host Mandy Jackson-Beverly speaks to authors, independent bookshop owners, specialists in social justice and the environment, and booksellers worldwide. Her guests are well-researched, and her interviews focus on community, culture, and books.

Mandy is a confessed bibliophile and believes independent bookshops are the gems of communities and authors are the rock stars of the literary world.
